St Edmund Hall, Oxford

Working for St Edmund Hall alongside GBS Architects, Wooldridge & Simpson constructed a series of lightweight structures including Mechanical & Electrical installations together with external works involving new stone paving. All works were carried out in the church yard of the Grade I Listed church, which in itself presented logistical issues with not only carrying out the works but, also the scheduling of deliveries as not to impede on normal college activities in a highly sensitive area. The Woodridge & Simpson team included a Contracts Manager, Site Manager and Quantity Surveyor all under the supervision of a Company Director who took an active role in the project. Wooldridge & Simpson received a letter of Recognition from the Oxford Preservation Trust for this project.
